SeaSonde software packages are continually improved based upon theoretical and practical experience.

Included with each SeaSonde Radial Site is all the software required for real-time operation,
data acquisition and processing into radial velocity maps.

Included with each SeaSonde Combine Site is all the software needed for automated scheduled transfer
of radial data and processing into total vector current maps.

The SeaSonde software contains many additional applications to examine and plot radial maps, current maps,
wave data, cross spectra, and diagnostics. The SeaSonde software also contains many utilities to help
diagnose the health of your system.

We do all our own software development, which is written in C, C++, and FORTRAN. The software is regularly
updated. As of spring 2004, the SeaSonde software will run on Mac OS X, which is based upon a UNIX core.
Software updates are freely available to all SeaSonde owners.
